Orem Summerfest is our favorite parade of the entire year!
I love it because you get to see everyone and we usually
have someone in our family in the parade :)

Brock caught a Pepsi t-shirt
Bronson's BYU hat paid off and he got a bookmark!
Talbie was our star this year as she was in the parade with Orem High Student Council
She had a foam tiger claw to give out...
And she chose to give it to...
Boston of course! His mom (Brittany) made him wear those funny glasses
so he'd get noticed - and it worked! He was handed every prize in the parade!
Emmie caught her "Orem Owlz" hat last year in the parade and it paid
off as their float came by- they gave her a schedule and water bottle!
We had such a great time!

They were all probably feeling really sorry for the poor kid who has to wear glasses that don't even fit him :) That's a great idea to dress to get noticed. I never thought of that!
With a baptism and tons of family in town we missed the parade this year. And I really did miss it. It is a great parade/time.
