Last Monday we went to the Lower Lights Christmas Concert
My brother Dustin is The Lower Lights and this concert is the
highlight of our year! This year it was held at Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake
and all 4 shows sold out in record time.
If you haven't heard their music, you must!!
Emmie snapped this picture of Dustin talking to Mitt Romney before the show started.
Mitt Romney hires The Lower Lights to perform at a lot of his private functions and Dustin
has gotten to know him pretty well.
We thought we were pretty special because Dustin had bought our tickets before they went on sale and we had the front row (or so we thought). They ended up putting about 3-4 rows of chairs in front of us for their true fans (like Mitt Romney). Then we knew we weren't special!

The Lower Lights are great! This year a member of our little bluegrass band was like, "Hey have you guys heard of the Lower Lights? We should do this and this and this song like they did it for our Christmas show." I had fun telling them my claim to fame... that Dustin is my cousin's brother-in-law. They were pretty impressed:) Now I just need to meet him, I guess.
