Party #1

Emmie didn't want to have a friend party
this year - instead she wanted to
just invite her BFF - Jill
to come out to lunch and to a movie with her

(opening her present in the car - she couldn't wait!)

We went to her favorite place
The Pizza Factory

and then saw "The Fantastic Mr. Fox"
We had so much fun!!

Blast from the Past

Primary Visit

I'm afraid the next little while is going to be
Emmie Overload!

Her birthday is on Sunday
same day as Valentine's day...

..so there will be parties and a baptism to
write about.

Sunday the Primary Presidency came over
and gave Emmie some fun things and told
her about her baptism and joining Activity Days!

One thing I love that they have done since
Talbie got baptized is they give them this
great towel with the year they are baptized on it.

It's a wonderful keepsake!

Eeewwww!

We have some Campbell soup mugs like these
that Bronson and Emmie eat their
oatmeal out of every morning...

This morning Bronson said,
"Mom, why does it say "Cannibal's" soup
on this mug?

I told him it was "Campbell's"

"OOOHHH" he said.

I can't believe he's been able to
stomach breakfast all these years
we've had these mugs!

Chopped!

For those of you that have seen me lately,
you know that my hair has grown VERY LONG
(long for me, anyway!)

I chopped it on Saturday :)

Merit Badges!

Bronson has been working hard with his friends
and they are completeing Merit Badges like crazy!

They did First Aid in December
Citizenship in the Community in January
(these are their final posters they made)

They start Citizenship in the Nation on Saturday,
Swimming in April
and they will finish Aviation on Wednesday :)

My friend, Gina and I took the boys on a tour
of the Provo Airport on Friday (since they were out of school)
They didn't seem too excited about it
until they started showing them the airplanes!

Baptism Pictures

Today we had some pictures taken in Emma's
new baptism dress. I wanted to get them
done early so I could have them by her baptism in
a few weeks. We just went to Target
but they do a surprisingly great job!

PS - these are very poor quality because they
are the pictures they emailed me. I won't
get the originals for a week :(

Baptism Dress

Today we went shopping for a baptism dress for Emmie.
I checked her out of school a little early so we'd
have time to do some shopping.

Grandma Pat was supposed to come with
us because it's a tradition that she gets the kids
their suit/dress for their baptism. She wasn't feeling
well so we had to go without her.

She looks a little "orphan-like" in these
pictures since we came straight from school,
but you get the idea :)

I wanted to get one that was a more "frilly" than the
one we got, but Emmie wouldn't have it!

I guess I should be thankful that
I got her try on the dresses at all! She's not
a dress kind of girl!
