Last night we had our annual
"Knowles Family Christmas Party"
This year we held it at Grandma Knowles'
new house in Lindon. It's so nice that
we are all so close now!

Dave wrote the best book this year. This is the gift we gave to our family this year.

Talbie's Choir

Yesterday Talbie's choir sang at the mall. It was fun
to go and watch her (and get a treat at the food court :)

Reflections Award

We got a call this weekend that invited us to the "Reflections Recognition Night" at Talbie's school. I haven't really pushed the kids to do "Reflections" but they have done it before. Talbie entered this year all on her own. She won the "Award of Merit" in the Visual Arts category. She drew a picture of her sister and called it "Emmaline" Way to go Talbie!

Santa!

Last night for "Family Night" we went to the mall
with Brittany's family and we saw
SANTA!

I really don't know how much longer
I'm going to be able to get away with this...

This was Maddie's 17th picture with Santa
She didn't complain though when we went.

I think she was more excited about it
then Emmie was!

Thanksgiving Day

We went back to our traditional Thanksgiving dinner with my family this year. Last year was different when we all went to Vegas. That was fun because we were able to see Bret's family but I was glad to be home this year.

We always have Thanksgiving dinner at the Marriott and then head to a movie. This year we all decided to not see a movie and we just hung out at my parents house until later afternoon. Then we went home and ate more food and pies that I had cooked. It was a great day!

New Christmas Ornament

I put the Christmas decorations up on Monday but we haven't
decorated the Christmas Tree
yet because we haven't had a night that
everyone was home.

Last night Bronson was busy making me an ornament.
He was telling me different things about it but I have to admit
that I wasn't paying that close of
attention to him :(

Today I saw this lone ornament on the tree.
I LOVE IT!

Bronson found 4 pennies with the years 1993, 1996, 1998, and 2002 on them.
(the years the kids were all born).

Then he spent an hour or so out in the garage hammering holes in the top
of the pennies.

Then found some silver pipe cleaner and finished the ornament.

Isn't he a sweet boy?

"Annie"

Well, Talbie had a week off and then they had auditions for
"Annie"

She had 3 different auditions this past week and this morning
we went to the school to see if she'd made the play and...

She did!

She's one of the orphans
and she's so excited :)

I guess I'd better figure out what's wrong with my stupid
sewing machine!

New Moon Was Great!

We had such a great time last night at the "New Moon" premiere! My friend had rented out an entire theater that she sold out. It was a 9:00 showing so we didn't have to wait too long. IN FACT - we ate dinner before and then go to the theater 15 mintues before the show started because it was reserved seating so we didn't have to worry about finding a seat. It was so great!

And the movie was 1,000 times better than the first!
A bigger budget makes a world of difference when making a movie!

Talbie wasn't so lucky but next year for "Eclipse" I'm making her come with me!

They got to their theater 3 hours early and had to wait outside most of the night
But she had the time of her life!

Dave picked them up at 2:30 am and she was higher than a kite!

Tonight's the Night!

Talbie has been counting down the days until "New Moon" came out.
I have to admit I didn't think I'd be as excited because it was my least favorite
book out of the 4...

But our Girl's Night Group got tickets to see the first showing tonight
Salt Lake...

..and I'm really excited :)

Talbie is going to a midnight showing tonight with some of her friends too
and will probably be missing school tomorrow.
